We do not collect in respect of users or customers  -  Other personal details & profiling data; physical description, family characteristics, lifestyle or personal tastes.  Identifiers; on-line identifiers, financial identifiers, identifiers assigned by Public bodies, biometric identifiers. Specific Data; Racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, health/medical data, sex life, police/justice data such as civil/criminal actions.

Customer Search Consent
The following is the consent required under the Data Protection Act 1998 that all potential customers be made aware of the implications of applying for finance in respect of personal and business credit checks. The consent may be verbal or written but in any event will contain no less than the following information.

Data Protection Notice for Finance Applicants
The Data Protection Act (1998) requires that Finance Applicants be made aware that:-
1.       in considering the application a search/s will be made of the Applicant/s record (and that of the Directors / Partners / Guarantors as appropriate) at one or more Credit Reference Agencies (including but not limited to Experian, Equifax Europe) which will include information from the electoral register. They will add to the Applicant/s record, details of the search/searches and this will be seen by other organisations that make searches.
2.       checks may be made of the details provided on the application form with fraud prevention agencies and, if false or inaccurate information has been given to us or them and we or they suspect fraud, this will be recorded and may be shared with other organisations.
3.       this information may be used in the assessment of the finance application and in the credit decision and for fraud prevention, debt tracing and prevention of money laundering.
4.       a credit scoring or other automated decision-making system may be used when assessing an application.
5.       Anglo Finance Ltd are registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 and all personal information is held in accordance with the statutory requirements of that act.
6.       they have a right to obtain copies of the personal information held by us or other organisations on payment of a fee.
7.       they may receive direct marketing information from us and from the proposed financier/funder and associated companies and that he/she/they have a right to choose not to receive such information.
